Vinson & Elkins Hires Mike Wigmore, Environmental Co-Chair from Bingham McCutchen

Vinson & Elkins LLP has brought into its environmental practice group the former co-chair of McCutchen’s Environmental, Land Use and Natural Resources Group, Michael Wigmore. Wigmore has a “nationally recognized practice” and has already represented several of V&E’s energy clients. Wigmore has a reputation of an environmental lawyer who manages natural resource, environmental and public land issues in state and federal administrative agencies in court as well as before Congress.

Michael Wigmore started his career in 1990 with Swidler Berlin, which later merged with Bingham in 2006. He is know for his work dealing with endangered species and the National Environmental Policy Act as well as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the EPA regarding issues involving the wetlands.
