Television reality star Kim Kardashian is officially on her way to walking down the blissful wedding aisle – again. According to TMZ, her boyfriend, Kanye West, surprised her with a trip to San Francisco where he blindfolded her and took her to the AT&T stadium home of The Giants. He rented out the stadium for the birthday surprise and epic marriage proposal. He even got down on one knee in the middle of the field and presented her with a fifteen carat diamond ring. One of Kim’s favorite songs, “Young and Beautiful (most recently heard on The Great Gatsby soundtrack) by Lana Del Ray echoed through the stadium with the help of a full orchestra as the personality celeb, of course, said a great big “Yes!” This will be her third attempt at a marriage while for Kanye, it will be his first. The couple have a baby daughter named North, born just four months ago. The marriage proposal also comes eighteen months after they decided to make their relationship public. Family and friends were also present to celebrate the happy occasion.

The stadium cost $35 K to rent, but money is never a problem for Kanye; it was also Kim’s birthday – she is thirty-three years old. Kanye West, hip-hop performer, is known for his wild and non-censored rants while Kim Kardashian is famous for, well, practically doing nothing. With their daughter caught in the middle of all the limelight her parents seems to soak up, hopefully this will be a union to last and bring happiness into their lives.

If it doesn’t Kanye can always auction off the giant diamond like the other ring from Kim’s seventy-two days marriage to basketball player, Kris Humphries. That particular ring started off at two hundred thousand dollars at Christie’s, according to Us Weekly, and eventually sold for six hundred twenty thousand dollars. That doesn’t include the markup price, bringing the price of the unwanted ring (by Kim anyway) to seven hundred forty-nine thousand dollars. The original price of the ring was two million. The ex-engagement, Lorraine Schwartz ring was set with a sixteen point twenty-one caret diamond, not including the trapeze-cut diamonds on either side.
