Penn State Law On the Rise with Highest Bar Pass Rate in the State

Pennsylvania’s law schools are among the most competitive, and among the ten schools, Penn State Dickinson School of Law is on the ascent. Though only ranked 64 on the U.S. News & World Report, it was ranked considerably better on the Business Insiders’ list of best law schools, making the 24 spot. Last year it didn’t make the top 50, so Penn State is improving, and they might soon improve on the U.S. News & World report, after the scores on the last bar exam, in which their school ranked the highest in the state, with a 93.83 percent success rate.

That was higher than the University of Pennsylvania Law Schools success rate, which was closely behind it at 92.68 percent; their school ranks no. 7 on the U.S. News & World Report. James E Beasley School of law trailed close by at number three with 92.31. These are all high rankings, and Pennsylvania’s law schools are competitive on the national scene.

Penn State enrolls 100,000 students across 24 campuses. Though it beat the University of Pennsylvania this last test, its last exam success rate, which was even higher, at 95.83 percent, was second to the University of Pennsylvania, which scored a spectacular 96.08 percent; so it seems competition is neck-to-neck between the schools.
