Chris Brown is at it again, slugging it out with some random man off the street. The hot-headed R&B singer, notorious for beating his girlfriend Rihanna in 2009, which he faced justice over and is still on probation for, and just as notorious for his Twitter rants, did not put himself into a good position this Sunday when he attacked a stranger outside the W Hotel in Washington D.C.
It seems Brown was getting a photo with two female fans when the man photobombed as a joke. He told TMZ that Brown then shouted out “I’m not into this gay shit. I’m into boxing,” upon which he started beating the man, breaking his nose.
“He just went nuts,” said a witness referring to Brown. “These guys just jumped in a photo. It was a joke.”
Brown and his bodyguard were subsequently arrested, and Brown had to remain locked up till Monday.
A source near Brown meanwhile is giving their own version of the story, claiming that “the report of the slur is total bullshit. There was no slur, and this whole picture thing is pure nonsense. These guys were trying to trespass on the bus.” According to this version of the story, which was reported in the Daily News, Brown was merely and innocently protecting his tour bus from trespassers.
Whatever the case, this could have impact on Brown’s Nov. 20 probation hearing regarding his assault of Rihanna. If his probation is revoked, he could spend up to four years locked up.
