Wolfe observed about Steele, that “During his sparkling 25-year judicial career, he has served on all three of Delaware’s constitutional courts, led what most would agree is the most respected state judiciary in the country, and served as Delaware’s judicial ambassador at large …”

In his career, Steele gathered the greatest experience possible in handling and presiding over corporate matters, as more than 60 percent of Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in the state. According to the office of the Secretary of State of Delaware, while the population of the state is about 900,000, even last year, almost one million businesses were legally incorporated in Delaware.

Steele and his colleagues at the Delaware Supreme Court also sit on the Chancery Court, which is possibly the most popular forum among big companies for litigating business disputes.
