Partner, Paul Thompson, tells the Washington Post that since relocating to their new office space in Capitol Hill last year, and the firm no longer names their conference rooms after stops on the Metro station such as “Judiciary Square.” The meeting rooms at the new McDermott Will & Emery take on a more international approach. The meeting spaces are now deemed “Boston,” “Brussels,” “California,” “China” as well as other places around the world where the law firm has its offices. Partner Paul Thompson said “I like to say we traded in an old Camry for a new Mercedes, and the Mercedes is cheaper.”
