Response to Starbucks Cease and Desist Letter Will Entertain and Delight You

In what is one of the most creative responses to a cease and desist letter we have seen, Jeff Britton responded to one filed by Starbucks and posted it on his Facebook page for all to see.

What is at the heart of the issue is that a customer of Britton’s Exit 6 Pub and Brewery called one of his beers a “Frappicino” 11 months ago on a beer review website. This prompted Starbucks to file a cease and desist letter against the pub, which is located in Cottleville, Missouri.

A cease and desist letter requires a written response, so Britton got a little creative and made sure Starbucks got what they wanted. He also sent them a $6 check for the drink in question.

The beer that was being reviewed by a customer on a website is known as “The F Word.”

We have embedded the entire letter from Starbucks and the response from Britton in this post for you to enjoy.

We hope you take the time to read the letter from Starbucks and really read the letter from Britton. You will definitely get a laugh or two out of Britton’s response. Let us know your thoughts about Britton’s response in our comments section at the bottom of the page.
