Alyssa Milano is probably best known for portraying Samantha Micelli on the ABC sitcom series Who’s the Boss? in the 80’s. As a teen, Alyssa Milano reportedly inspired the Disney animators Glen Keane and Mark Henn to create the look and personality of Ariel in the 1989 film The Little Mermaid. And by the late 1980s, Milano was established as a teen idol.
Comedian Jay Mohr, reportedly took a few jabs at his former Ghost Whisperer co-star Alyssa Milano during a radio interview after he worked with her at the recent Sprint Cup Series Champion’s Awards in Las Vegas, on December 6, a NASCAR event. Huffington post reported that the actor said “She was one of the presenters… She’s very tiny,” he said of Milano, whom he called “Melissa” instead of Alyssa. And also stated that, “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s**t’ … I read it on her gut… Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, ‘Jesus Christ.'”
Today entertainment reported that actress Brooke Shields pointed out, the former “Who’s the Boss” star Milano, responded to the alleged dis in a “smart” and “classy” manner in a Christmas day tweet on her Twitter account. Alyssa Milano is currently a host and judge on “Project Runway All-Stars.”
