Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt), a full service, mid-sized commercial law firm has announced the election and appointment of two key management positions, that of its new CEO and COO. Effective January 1, Phil C. Appenzeller, Jr., will be the new Chief Executive Officer of the firm and E. Lee Morris would take over as the Chief Operating Officer.
With more than 40 years of combined legal experience, Appenzeller and Morris look forward to build upon the firm’s commitments in providing legal expertise with better efficiencies and values. Both Appenzeller and Morris were featured among Munsch Hardt attorneys individually selected to the 2013 Texas Super Lawyers list.
Appenzeller is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice group and was the former Chief Operating Officer of the firm. While Morris is a member of the firm’s restructuring creditor’s rights and finance practice group, and former member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Appenzeller’s extensive experience in leadership and his day-to-day responsibilities will include the development and implementation of the firm’s overall strategic direction and fulfilling the firm’s commitment to providing senior-level expertise at a more competitive pricing model.
As the Chief Operating Officer, Morris will continue to drive performance and efficiency in personnel, operational controls, administrative procedures and technology. Both the key management leaders will work aggressively towards the growth of the firm.
