One man’s wacky and whimsical vision of googly eyes on random and ordinary things makes the neighborhood of Liberty Village in Toronto into a funny and happier place. Street Artist Aiden Glynn took things in the background of an image, took taken for granted objects, and took the life that lives in the periphery- just beyond what we pay attention to when we look at things- and for a single moment, has made something that can elicit smiles.
A children’s playground is the perfect place to start whimsy, especially when creating a dinosaur’s visage on a slide.
A moustache here adds a very turn of the century effect to the art piece as it stands.
The manchu ‘stache is very cool, and the rice paddy hat is a finer detail that definitely gets noticed. This piece is a favorite with the granite colored slabs being very neutral toned and very laid back -low key.
This piece of art fairly personalizes the mailbox experience! The mailman will feel smilier and collecting the payables has never seen a sunnier greeting.
This personalized and dino-snaut mailbox exactly has the shape of a friend, with its yellow waggy tongue.
This monstrous looking personality shows its fierce teeth, certainly a favorite among chewers everywhere.
This lovely tree shows off its flowers, its ferny locks, and its lovely made up eyes and lips. It is a site for sore eyes!
Last and certainly not least, in the style of Thomas the train, we see this tug-aong, with wide open eyes and teeth. Looking friendly and shocked, we want  the artists’ viewers to coo – ‘Don’t worry. We are friends! All is well.’ While street art can be labeled vandalism by some, there are many fans of the urban and sometimes very random street art that occurs in metro cities around the world.
