Prank Involving ‘Devil Baby’ Frightens New Yorkers

By now you have seen the horrific commercials promoting the new movie “Devil’s Due.” The commercials are quite scary and tout the movie that is scheduled to be released this weekend across the country, according to The Huffington Post.

A video has been making its way around the web featuring a demonic baby in a stroller. The baby is controlled by remote and can turn its head, vomit, and scream. In the video, which is embedded in this post, the stroller is left unattended on busy streets of New York.

There are cameras filming as passers-by check out the stroller and are scared beyond their wildest dreams by the robotic baby. The stunt was performed by Thinkmodo as a viral video campaign for the movie “Devil’s Due.”

Once the baby was constructed, the team put it in the stroller and place it on random streets throughout New York. Plenty of Good Samaritans fell for the prank and their reactions are incredible. You really have to watch this video.

Thinkmodo has done stuff like this in the past. When the movie “Carrie” was being promoted, the team setup the telekinetic coffee shop in Manhattan. The founder of Thinkmodo, Michael Krivicka, told Yahoo News that the project “was an interesting social experiment to see how many people would bother to check on an abandoned stroller.”
