World’s Most Epic Hockey Stick Pass

Kevin Clark and Adam Courchaine are Canadian teammates who play for the Krefeld Pinguine in the DEL (Germany). During a recent game, Clark lost his stick going for the puck. As he skated back, Courchaine was there to flip his stick back to him and allow both him and his teammate to help out and get back on defense. On the site GIVEMESPORT.COM there is a really cool video showing the ice hockey rink and the incredible hockey pass. It looked extremely difficult. Hockey fans everywhere will drink to that epic pass.

Professional ice hockey has existed since the early 20th century. There are many examples of games throughout history incorporating hitting a ball on an ice-covered surface which predate hockey. It was played with a wooden curved bat, a wooden or leather ball and two poles or nearby landmarks, with the objective to hit the chosen point using the least number of strokes. A similar game had been played for a thousand years or more by the Vikings, as documented in the Icelandic sagas.

However, modern ice hockey is believed to have evolved from outdoor stick-and-ball games adapted to the icy conditions of Canada during the 19th century. Immigrants from Iceland played for Canada, winning the first Olympic medal in hockey. The National Hockey Association was formed in Montreal In 1910. For employment in Canada click here.
