The Lanier law firm has announced new roles for its two top attorneys in New York, Richard D. “Rick” Meadow and Evan M. Janush. The trial law firm claims in its press release that the promotions have been spurred by the firm’s growth.
Mr. Meadow has been promoted to National Mass Tort Leader for the law firm, and in his new capacity he will be overseeing all of the firm’s pharmaceutical mass tort litigation. He will also be responsible for promoting and maintaining associated outside relationships at a national level. Mr. Meadow was instrumental in establishing the New York office of the law firm in 2004, when he served as the Managing Attorney for the office.
Mr. Meadow is well known as a trial lawyer and he has obtained multiple verdicts in favor of his clients that have been listed among the National Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts of the Year.
Following the promotion of Meadows, Mr. Janush has been promoted to the position of Managing Attorney for New York, and he will assume the full operational and management responsibilities that come with his position. He will be leaving the position of Chief of Staff of the New York office to which he had been promoted last year.
Janush has substantial experience in mass tort class actions and has been associated with high profile cases involving defective products, toxic torts and general corporate negligence.
Both Meadow and Janush have been highlighted in the New York Metro Super Lawyers list.
Speaking on the promotions, the firm’s founder and lead litigation counsel Mark Lanier said, “We are proud of Rick’s and Evan’s success on behalf of our clients and our firm … We are very pleased to make this announcement recognizing their accomplishments.
The Lanier law firm is recognized as a leading trial law firm with offices in Houston, Los Angeles and New York.
