Meat Cleaver Wielding Robber gets Laughed at by Bank’s Teller

Robber gets nothing but laughs after he shows a bank teller a meat cleaver in a busy Chinese bank. In Zhoujiazui, China, a video that has gone viral, shows a would-be robber trying to rob a bank by slamming a giant meat cleaver against the dividing glass, as he’s talking to someone on his cell phone.

According to The Daily News, the surveillance tape shows the suspect calmly walking to the teller, at the China Construction Bank branch on Sunday, as another customer is being served. He places the meat cleaver on the tellers window and the customer being served, looks at him in disbelief, grabs her things and quickly walks away from the man holding the cleaver.

While all this is happening, you can see the bank teller pointing and laughing at the man as she talks to someone working near her. The robber calmly talking on the phone, was approached by bank security. The guard signals to the man to drop the meat cleaver and draws a weapon. At the same time another guard approaches the robber from behind and grabs him and the knife. The robber was wrestled to the ground and detained. The police were summoned to the bank and the man was arrested. There were no injuries and the man was not immediately identified.
