The law firm of BakerHostetler has announced via a press release that it has added five lawyers to its office in Chicago. The five lawyers are John Letchinger, Craig White, Douglas Rupert, Matt Caccamo and Derek Campbell.
Letchinger, White and Rupert join the firm as partners. Caccamo comes to the firm as counsel and Campbell is an associate.
The litigation group welcomes White and Caccamo while Rupert, Campbell and Letchinger join the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. All five additions join the firm from Edwards Wildman.
“Craig and Matt are a welcome addition to the firm’s nationally recognized trial practice ,” said W. Ray Whitman, national chair of BakerHostetler’s Litigation Group. “Their courtroom experience will provide added depth to our already deep bench of trial lawyers.”
The national chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, John H. Weber, said, “With the addition of John, Doug and Derek in Chicago, our practice has another new market to call home.”
Ronald S. Okada is the managing partner for the firm’s office in Chicago and Okada said, “These hires send a significant message about our capabilities as a national law firm with a strong and strategic presence in the Chicago market. We are very happy to be adding IP litigation and core patent expertise to the Chicago office, as well as expanding our talented group of trial lawyers.”
