The entire 24th floor of the Tishman Speyer property at 30 Rockefeller Plaza has been overtaken by the law firm of Haynes and Boone LLP, according to the Commercial Observer. The 24th floor encompasses 38,193 square feet.
Haynes now has the entire space on the 24th, 25th and 26th floors of the building. They are the third largest tenant in the building, with 112,793 square feet of space in their lease. An unnamed spokesperson confirmed the deal for the Commercial Observer. Data from CompStak shows that Haynes will pay rent beginning in the upper $70s.
Representation for the landlord occurred in-house. The senior director from Tishman Speyer, Samantha Augarten, did not issue any comment on the deal. Haynes was represented by Andrew Sussman, Ken Rapp and David Kleinhandler of CBRE.
Haynes and Boone first moved to Rockefeller Plaza back in 2011 from their location at 1221 Avenue of the Americas. When they first moved, the firm held space on the entire 25th and 26th floors of the building. At their old location, the firm had space totaling just 35,000 square feet. Haynes is headquartered in Dallas, but continues to grow at an incredible rate in New York. The firm had just one attorney working in New York back in 2004. Now, the firm has 76 attorneys in the city.
