Thursday Thoughts

Thank you all so much for your great comments this week! It’s been a big week of posts for me, first up another Pinterest Outfits Made Affordable post, then I shared some of the pressure I’ve been feeling, and finally I talked about the difficulty I’m having in deciding how much to share on here. Time for something a little lighter – Thursday Thoughts!

1. Tuesday’s post and Wednesday’s post were both written at the same time within 15 minutes. It started out as one post but then I had so much to say that I realized it was really two!

2. I am obsessed with Bulletproof coffee! I put coffee, almond milk and coconut oil into my magic bullet, blend for a few seconds, and voila! So good.

3. We got our legs for the relay race at the end of March that I’ve been training for and… all of mine are under 4 miles… Haha. I was anticipating a lot more than that, so I guess I can pull back on my training?

4. Tuesday was my cousin’s birthday and I can’t believe she’s in college!! I remember when she was born… which makes me feel so old. I found some cute pictures for the occasion:

5. My office has this hot/cold thing going on. Sometimes I’m warm enough that I need to take off my cardigan. Other times I need to put on my scarf, a fleece, and wear my coat as a blanket…

6. I started following Post Grad Problems on twitter at my friend’s suggestion and let’s just say it’s so true…

7. I’ve been making overnight oats to bring to work every morning and I’m a huge fan. Not only are they delicious, but, let’s be honest, eating them makes the morning go by just a liiiiiittle bit faster.

these are pumpkin with protein powder, coconut and coconut oil!

8. Have a great rest of your week!

What do you usually eat for breakfast?

What’s your favorite twitter account to follow?

How do you take your coffee (or tea)?

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
