Around the world parents teach their children everything they need to know while growing up. The mother in this video tries to teach her daughter the important lesson about strangers. It’s hard to say no to strangers to the little cutie, especially when her mother pretends to be a stranger and offers the little girl things she loves.
Her mother asks, “Ye Bin if a stranger says, “Let’s go eat cookies,” you say? The adorable girl answers, “I like that.” Her mother quickly corrects her in hopes that when she continues teaching her daughter, she would understand the concept behind, ‘Never take anything from strangers, never go with strangers and tell them to go, go, go.
In today’s environment more and more complex social interactions are faced on a local as well as digital level. Teaching children the value of their sanctity as well as privacy is critical, especially as the social barriers bring us closer together as members of a societal structure. For each individual’s wellness as well as for the sake of each individual’s safety, learning when and how to say “no” to whom and when to do so, is a most valuable skill that parents would do well to teach their children as early as possible, as this mother does.
