The law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP has announced via a press release that Mandana Massoumi has joined the law firm in its Orange County office. Massoumi will work as a litigation partner in the practice of Employment and Labor. She comes to the firm from Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where she worked as a partner.
Massoumi represents employers during class actions lawsuits and employment litigation cases. She has succeeded in defending employers in cases involving the California Labor Code, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, the California Business and Professions Code and the ERISA.

Massoumi belongs to the Orange County Coastkeeper’s board of directors and is a member of the Orange County Family Service Team. Massoumi has been nominated repeatedly for the Orange County Business Journal Women in Business Award. She earned a dual undergraduate degree in economics and political science from the University of California, San Diego. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
