The law firm of DLA Piper announced via a press release that Ardith Bronson has joined the firm in its Miami office. Bronson will work in the Litigation practice and Health Care sector as of counsel.
Bronson’s practice is focused on complex health care litigation involving the ERISA, the Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Statutes, the False Claims Act, Medicare, RICO and the Anti-Kickback Statute. Bronson comes to the law firm from Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP.
The hiring partner at DLA Piper’s Miami office, Jackie Hodes, said, “Along with Joshua Kaye and Michael Austin, who have helped make DLA Piper one of South Florida’s go-to firms for health care litigation, transactional and regulatory matters, Ardith’s experience in addressing the most pressing issues facing health care providers and payors will be an important asset for our clients in this industry.”
Bronson belongs to the American Health Lawyers Association and the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association. Bronson earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. Bronson graduated with a B.A. from Emory University.
