Thursday Thoughts

Happy Thursday!

1. A few of you asked about this picture from yesterday’s One Word Wednesday. Well, I was walking Molly on a gravel path and some other dog chased a couple geese who flew in the air right next to me. I saw them coming straight at me so I ducked. Molly decided to bolt. Since I was bent over, she was able to pull me straight into the ground. My poor knees still look a mess.

2. Good thing she’s adorable.

3. Although some afternoons this week are a smidge warmer, I am just so, so tired of this weather. I want to not wear tights. I want to walk to the gym in shorts. I want to stand outside in the sun and be warm.

4. I got a free 3 month membership to CookSmarts and tried out two of their recipes this week to make all my lunches. So far so good – it’s fun to try some things that I never would have made before.

5. I got a one month membership to CorePower Yoga through Groupon and my goal is to go three times a week. I’ve been going to their Yoga Sculpt class in place of doing strength on my own and then running three days a week. So far I’m liking it, and it’s interesting to mix up my morning by going to yoga near work, showering in their locker room and then going straight to work.

6. I attempted to do this yoga inversion while watching Hulu last night and when my friend asked me what I was doing I sent him this picture. He corrected my posture, and I was laughing so hard I fell over into a heap. I am like a 12 year old.

7. Yesterday I was watching these sailboats trying to come down the Chicago river so they could harbor in Lake Michigan. It was highly entertaining. My life…

8. Have a great Thursday!

Do you do yoga regularly? Do you like yoga?

When was the last time you “ate it?”
