The law firm of Cantey Hanger LLP has announced via a press release that it has added Kimberly B. Herbert as an associate in its Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practice. Herbert comes to the firm from Ogletree Deakins.
“Employment and commercial litigation are valuable focus areas for Cantey Hanger and we’re extremely pleased to add Ms. Herbert’s talents,” said Managing Partner Steve Tatum.
Herbert focuses her work on state and federal discrimination cases. She has represented individual and institutional defendants in multiple areas of medical malpractice litigation.
Herbert graduated from New York University in 2005 with a bachelor of Fine Arts. In 2009, she graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with her law degree. Herbert worked for The Innocence Project while in law school and for the Special Litigation Unit of the New York City Law Department.
Herbert is admitted to practice law in Texas, New York and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and U.S. District Court, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.
Herbert belongs to the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the New York State Bar Association. Herbert volunteers with Legal Aid NorthWest Texas and the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas.
