Days after they said they’d “worked through” the reported elevator fight, the family proved reports of hostility within the family all lies. Saturday afternoon, the family was seen at Cafe Amelie in New Orleans’ French Quarter. They dined on light Creole food, and enjoyed the time together.
According to the Daily News, everything went well except when little Blue Ivy got fussy during the dining affair, so Beyonce took her to a waiting SUV with her nanny, to watch “Dora the Explorer.”
Later in the day, Beyonce posted pictures on her website showing the family gathering. They also visited the Big Easy’s Ritz Carlton Hotel on Thursday and Friday. Jay Z and Beyonce shopped at boutique Pippen Lane on Magazine Street, and stopped at a local juice bar.In a joint statement Thursday, the trio described the May 5th elevator incident as “unfortunate” that ended with apologies from both sides.
“At the end of the day, families have problems and we’re no different,” it said. “We love each other and, above all, we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
Elevator security footage was obtained by TMZ.com showed Solange going crazy on Jay Z hitting and kicking him following an after party at Met Gala after party inside Chelsea’s Standard Hotel. The Hotel has fired the worker that leaked the security footage.
