A kinky role-play scenario ended with a trip to the hospital when the keys to handcuffs became stuck inside a woman, according to The Huffington Post.
A couple from Canada were visiting Van Nuys, California when the incident occurred. There have been identified only as Michelle and Jason. The incident was played out on TLC’s “Sex Sent Me To The E.R.”
Michelle was acting as a princess and Jason was acting as a fire-breathing dragon and the role-play included handcuffs. During the role-play, the keys to the handcuffs were put inside Michelle’s vagina, causing them to become lodged in her uterus.
“That snapped me,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Okay, this is the situation. This is why we’re here.”
E.R. physician Dr. Michelle Pearl did not tackle this case, but she spoke of many cases involving objects inside the vagina.
“I’d obviously never recommend anyone do anything like this even if your judgment is impaired in the moment of passion,” she said. “We’re talking about a jagged metal object in a very sensitive place. On top of that, if there is any tearing, you may need surgical repair.”
The doctor who worked the case probed Michelle and found the keys were next to the cervix, tangled in the nylon strings of her IUD.
“The fact that this key got entangled in these strings is so random, so unbelievable,” Pearl said. “I can’t believe it actually happened.”
The outcome will not be revealed until the show’s next episode, which airs on Saturday.
