On Wednesday night, a 25-year-old man was taken into custody after reportedly attacking Brad Pitt at the Hollywood premiere of the new film “Maleficent.” He was at the premier with Angelina Jolie, who stars in the film. According to KTLA, the couple was signing autographs outside of the El Capitan Theatre when the incident occurred.
The man jumped the barriers and hit Pitt in the face, according to Sgt. Leonard Calderon of the Los Angeles Police Department. The man was detained by private security working the event until offices from the LAPD took him into custody.
The man has been identified as Vitalii Seduik. He was taken to the Hollywood station of the LAPD and charged with suspicion of misdemeanor battery. He was held on $20,000 bail.
Sediuk is no stranger to these events and incidents either. In 2012, Sediuk was slapped across the face by Will Smith after he attempted to kiss the actor. Not too long ago, Sediuk was removed from the Cannes premiere of “How to Train Your Dragon 2” after he put his head up the dress of America Ferrara.
The list of incidents keeps growing. Sediuk charged the stage at the 2013 Grammy Awards prior to Adele accepting an award. He also hugged actors Bradley Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio around the legs at separate events this year.
