Summer is definitely the busiest time of the year here in Chicago, as I’m sure it is most other places. All you want to do is be outside, and there is so much travel with vacations and weddings.
Because I can’t eat gluten or soy, I am sometimes limited on food choices when I’m away from home. I learned quickly that whether I’m going to work, out running errands or traveling, I always need to pack my own snacks.
Ever since I discovered Blue Diamond’s flavored almonds, I was hooked. Not only are they a healthy and filling snack, but they are SO GOOD. Obviously I said yes when they offered to send me two of their flavors that are great for summer: Toasted Coconut and Blueberry.
I dug straight into the Coconut flavor and absolutely loved them, I finished them off in three days! I was skeptical about Blueberry, but they were surprisingly good! I’m definitely a sweet over savory kind of person so I loved having a snack that’s normally savory become so sweet!
The size of the containers were great too because I could throw them in my purse on my way out the door. Once I realized how good they were I started putting handfuls in baggies since I knew I’d eat them all at once otherwise!
