The law firm of Mayer Brown announced via a press release that Michael P. Lennon Jr. will join the Houston office as a partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He will also work in the International Arbitration practice. He comes to the firm from Baker Botts and their office in Houston.
According to the release, Houston senior partner Bill Knull, said the following: “Mike is an experienced arbitration practitioner and trial lawyer with an outstanding track record for handling a wide variety of arbitration and litigation matters, particularly in the energy, natural resources and construction sectors. We are delighted to welcome him to Mayer Brown.”
The co-leader of the firm’s global International Arbitration practice, Raid Abu-Manneh, said, “Arbitration is the preferred mechanism for resolving transnational disputes in many parts of the world, and Mike’s extensive experience in high profile cases will further enhance our ability to act for clients with international arbitration matters around the globe.”
Lennon represents clients in front of courts, juries, arbitral tribunals, appellate proceedings, annulment proceedings and enforcement proceedings.

Lennon earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and his BS from the University of Iowa.Â
