The law firm of Greenberg Traurig announced via a press release that James S.H. Null has joined the firm in the New York office. Null will work as of counsel in the Global practice. He comes to the firm from ” href=”https://www.lawcrossing.com/lawfirmprofile/84ex5172eado2f3c5edsee5db3cl62d44df5/Reed-Smith-LLP./” target=”_blank”>Reed Smith.
Null focuses his practice in United States federal tax issues. This includes domestic and international tax planning for corporate transactions, inbound and outbound investments, private equity investments and the use of U.S. and non-U.S. treaty networks. Null’s clients include media companies and non-U.S. investors on inbound media joint ventures and investments.
Barbara Kaplan, the chair of the New York Tax Practice, said the following in the release: “Jamie’s extensive experience in a wide range of U.S. federal tax matters bolsters our global Tax Practice and brings a new dimension to the firm’s experience in this area. He will make an immediate impact.â€

Null earned his LL.M. from New York University School of Law, his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his BA from Brandeis University.
