Richard J. Aaron Joins Lansing Office of Dykema

Summary: Dykema Gossett has announced that veteran Lansing attorney Richard J. Aaron has joined the firm in the city from Warner Norcross & Judd LLP. He has joined the firm in its government policy practice group.

It was announced this week by Dykema Gossett that Richard J. Aaron has joined the firm in its Government Policy practice group, according to a press release from the firm. Aaron will work in the firm’s Lansing office and he comes from the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.

Aaron’s practice centers around renewable energy, natural gas transportation, energy, cogeneration, general business matters and negotiation of energy contracts. Aaron has represented energy providers and public utilities in front of regulatory agencies and state and federal courts. He handles complex litigation issues that involve power supply and gas cost recovery, rate increase requests, taxes, accounting, optimization plans, purchase agreements, spent nuclear fuel and the defense and prosecution of complaints.

William Perrone is the managing member of the Lansing office for Dykema. Perrone said the following in the press release about Aaron:

“Rick’s experience working on a wide variety of energy matters and representing public utilities and energy providers will be a valuable resource to the firm and our clients. We are pleased to welcome him to our Government Policy practice in Lansing.”

Aaron earned his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and his B.A. from Olivet College.
