Wilson Elser has announced that Carlos Enrique Provencio has joined the firm in its Securities & Commercial & Business Litigation practices, according to a release from the firm.
Provencio joins the firm from Raymond James, where he worked as an associate general counsel. Provencio will work as of counsel at the Washington, D.C. office for Wilson Elser.
Robert W. Goodson, the regional managing partner at Wilson Elser, said the following in the release:

His experience in-house with Raymond James and International Paper Company, along with his years in private practice with Am Law 200 firms, gives him a deep and intimate understanding of the law as well as a 360-degree view of how to best service clients – attributes of every great lawyer.”
Provencio has experience with hearings in front of FINRA and AAA. He has provided legal counsel for clients regarding document management, e-discovery and data privacy.
He is an adjunct professor at George Mason University School of Law in Virginia. He has served as the Internet/publications office for the International Bar Association in London.
Provencio graduated with his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. He earned his B.A. from Swarthmore College.
