Summary: A man visiting a strip club in Montana grows irate when a stripper won’t have sex with him, and so calls 911 to voice a complaint, only to be arrested himself for soliciting prostitution.
What to do if the stripper you’ve forked $350 to won’t grant you the sexual favors you so immediately desire? When posed with this question, William McDaniel, 53, insisted on his rights as a paying customer: he called 911.
Saturday night McDaniel had been visiting Sagebrush Sam’s Exotic Dance Club, which is near Butte, Montana, which, according to a Yelp review was “dirty and smells like vomit.” He paid a stripper $350 for a private dance, which came to an abrupt halt when he became “sexually aggressive” as The Montana Standard reported. He placed the call to 911 hoping the cops would see that justice was done.
When they arrived on the scene and assessed the situation, they didn’t book the stripper. They did, however, book McDaniel for soliciting prostitution, as KIVQ reported, and he spent the night at the local jail before posting bond Sunday morning.
McDaniel’s previous charges include DUI and drug possession in three Montana counties.
McDaniel called 911 to file a consumer complaint against the club. How he expected the police to react is hard to determine, but that he intended them to coerce the stripper to comply to his lusty desires stretches credulity.
The charge of solicitation of prostitution counts as a misdemeanor.
