Summary: 19-year-old Robert Burt, of Pittsfield, Maine, took crazy mug shots to a whole new level by pulling off a mug shot within a mug shot.
Robert Burt, a 19-year-old who served a two day sentence earlier this month for driving under the influence in Pittsfield, Maine, decided to make light of his criminal charges by arriving to jail to serve his time donning a personalized t-shirt. The Detroit Free Press reported that the T-shirt featured his original booking mug shot, along with “Burt Family Reunion 8/8—8/10/14.†Determined to exhibit more creativity on his fashion statement, Burt also added, “sponsored by Bud Light and Somerset County Sheriff.†The t-shirt is drawing the attention of thousands in cyberspace—much more so than the plain white t-shirt Burt was wearing when he was arrested, according to Metro.
However, the mug shot only shows part of Burt’s artistic creativity. Burt had also carefully placed a picture of a white cat, presumably enjoying a cold one while watching television, under the photo of his own mug shot. Unfortunately, Burt did not plan ahead for the camera’s cropping, and the kitty was left out.
Beaming with pride, upon his release, Burt updated his Facebook status: “I’m out bitchs [sic].†A couple of days later, he proudly posted his mug shot for the world to see, with the caption “probably the best mug shot ever haha.†He added that the correctional officers apparently thought the shirt was hilarious.
Apparently, Burt missed the part where Bud Light recommends its consumers to “enjoy responsibly.â€
