Greenberg Traurig announced on Thursday that veteran litigation attorney Ryan C. Berry has joined the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, as Shareholder in its Litigation practice. He will reside in the Northern Virginia office. Berry worked most recently at Troutman Sanders LLP .
Berry will focus his practice on representing federal contractors and technology companies, with a particular emphasis on companies providing products and services to the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Berry manages company responses and defends contractor interests in responding to agency Inspectors General and Congressional Committees.
Prior to practicing law, Berry was a management consultant at ACS Defense, where he supported Department of Defense IT programs. He also served as an officer in the United States Air Force, with specialties in Acquisitions Management and Space/Missile Operations.
He litigates disputes on behalf of clients in federal and state courts, conducts internal investigations, and counsels clients in responding to crisis events. In addition, he has experience in handling international contractor disputes and investigations, including those involving alleged false claims, anti-bribery statute violations, human trafficking and alien tort claims.

Berry earned his J.D. from the Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2004, a Graduate Certificate in Technical Program Management from the Lally School of Management and Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1996.
