Real estate attorneys specialize in issues related to property and other real estate. They assist clients with home purchases, foreclosures, landlord-tenant issues, trespassing, and even neighbor disputes. Real estate attorneys work in residential or commercial environments. Real estate attorneys may also assist clients with farm acquisitions and sales, financing, eminent domain, and mortgages. They may also assist with disputes involving construction defects and mechanics liens.
There are two in-house real estate positions available. The first position requires a minimum of two years’ experience. The candidate will support the legal leasing department in retail lease negotiations. Working in a team environment is required and the attorney will participate in the legal leasing department and will be responsible for all commercial and retail lease negotiations.
