Summary: A New York man in his twenties may be homeless, but ensures that he only sleeps on the streets a couple of nights each week by wooing various women and sleeping over at their homes.
Business Insider has revealed that a 26-year-old New York City man has an interesting way of staying off the streets: by taking women home (obviously, to their homes) and having one-night stands.
The young man, named Joe, makes up to $150 a day panhandling on the streets of New York, but once the sun goes down, Joe turns up the charm as he tries to woo women in bars and other various locations in the city.
To ensure he doesn’t smell, well, like a homeless guy, Joe frequents local drug stores for products to help him stay clean and smell fresh. That $150 he potentially earns per day panhandling? Joe spends it on drugs, alcohol (including buying drinks for the ladies), and keeping his appearance as clean as possible. Elite Daily put it best: “His only responsibility is to not look homeless.”
If he doesn’t get lucky one night, he sleeps on a cardboard box on a New York sidewalk.
Why is Joe homeless? He states it’s because his mother found his hidden drugs and kicked him out of the house. He commented, “This abstract lifestyle is not for everybody. And I’m pretty sure that if you look around you…at the homeless people in New York City, I’m the only one that can pull this sh*t off.”
