Well hey there! Sorry for the lack of posting this week, but it’s been a busy one. Plus the fact that this morning is the first time I’ve sat down on my computer since Sunday…
1. So I started my new temp job last Thursday but let me tell you – I feel like I’m in jail! For real. No phone, no internet, just you, a bunch of documents to move through as quickly as possible, and a tiny box of a room for 8-10 hours a day. But hey, I lucked out with some fun coworkers so it’s not all bad!
2. Another pro? Our (rented) offices are down in the loop, so it’s a change of scenery (haha during my 30 min lunch break!).

3. I also had some busy evenings this week, but I really enjoyed the second one. I volunteered with some people at my church with an organization called The Bridge. They do a lot of things but what we did was venture out west to a church where we hosted people who would normally feel judged going to a church (recovering drug/alcohol abusers, ex-convicts, etc. and their families). We had a worship service and then served them dinner and ate with them. It turned out to be so much more fun than I anticipated and I’m glad I didn’t chicken out!
4. This weekend in Chicago was absolutely GORGEOUS! Seriously. We could not have asked for better weather.
5. So this Friday at my church Tony Hale who plays “Buster Bluth” on Arrested Development is speaking! Haha I’m so excited!
6. My friend told me her sister loves a certain brand of leggings and that she found them at COSTCO for $15!!!! I ordered some and I am totally in love!
7. I’m running late so I have to GOOOOOOOOO!
