There are two positions available in San Diego. One requires 3-5 years’ experience and is for an employment in-house attorney. The candidate must also be a member of the California State Bar. The associate counsel position will be responsible for handing cases that involve high complexity and monetary exposure. In addition, the associate will handle non-litigated issues by working with claims staff to provide guidance and direction. Complex legal issues will be analyzed and researched. The attorney will prepare pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs as necessary. The attorney will be responsible for all aspects of trial preparation. There is also a position available for a litigation attorney in San Diego. This position is for global general counsel and requires at least 10 years’ experience. The candidate will advise the corporation concerning its legal rights, obligations and privileges. The candidate will ensure compliance with securities regulations and will conduct legal due diligence and analyze acquisitions and investments. The candidate will also be responsible for various aspects of risk management, including managing litigation and disputes.
