Summary: Quinn Emanuel has announced that it has added Boris Bronfentrinker to its office in London. He will handle competition litigation for the firm.
The law firm of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP announced via a press release that Boris Bronfentrinker will join the law firm as a partner. Bronfentrinker will work in the firm’s London office and will handle competition litigation.
Nadine Herrmann is the Chair of the law firm’s Competition EU Practice. Herrmann said, “We look forward to having Boris joining us. Adding an experienced Competition expert in London will help us on both sides of the Channel.”
Boris has litigated for clients in front of the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the English High Court.
John B. Quinn, the managing partner of the firm, said the following:
“We are very excited about Boris joining our London office. Antitrust litigation has always been a significant part of our practice in the United States. More recently it has become an growing part of our practice internationally. This is particularly true in the EU where the regulators are increasingly active. Adding Boris to our Competition team in Brussels and Germany will help us better serve our clients in both domestic and international competition matters.”
The co-managing partner of the London office, Richard East, said: “I am particularly excited about Boris’ claimant side experience. There are very few firms in London which combine our litigation expertise, global reach and relatively conflict free position which will instantly make us unique in the competition space in London.”
Boris holds degrees in law and Economics from the University of Sydney. He earned a postgraduate degree from King’s College in London in EC Competition Law.
