Summary: Leading corporate attorney Graham White has joined Fried Frank as the head of its European private equity practice, the law firm announced on Monday. White will also take over as managing partner of the London office of the firm. White advises companies on mergers and acquisitions, and he counsels private equity firms on all forms of management buyouts, management buy-ins, leveraged buyouts and public-to-private transactions.
Before joining Fried Frank, White was a senior partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis; in addition to handling significant corporate and private equity matters, he was responsible for European operations and served as a member of their 15-person management committee. The development follows Fried Frank’s recent hire of Commercial Litigation and White Collar Criminal Defense and Securities Enforcement partner Stephen M. Juris in New York.

White received a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow in 1984 and an LLB from the same institution in 1983. He was admitted as a solicitor by the law Society of Scotland in 1985.
