She joins the firm from Merchant & Gould.

Culbert has experience litigating intellectual property and commercial disputes in state, local and federal courts.

Culbert has represented clients regarding trademark, trade secrets, copyright, trade dress, breach of contract, unfair competition, employee non-compete issues, patent infringement, data privacy, new media and digital infringements.

John Weber, the chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property, Technology & Media Group, said, “Gina is highly experienced in litigating disputes that involve digital and technological complexities.  Her experience in these areas will help bring additional clarity to our clients who rely on BakerHostetler to protect their intellectual property in this digital era.”



Michael J. Swope is the partner-in-charge for the Seattle office. Swope said, “She joins a team of more than 140 IP attorneys focused on providing BakerHostetler clients with a matrix of services aimed at aggressively defending a company’s brand footprint in a global marketplace. We are pleased to welcome her to the office, and I know her skills will be a significant benefit to our clients.”

Culber said the following in the release: “I look forward to becoming a trusted advisor to BakerHostetler clients, and to work with the firm’s highly sophisticated teams around the country,” said Culbert. “I will be employing my litigation and counseling skills, and knowledge of data privacy laws and international data transfer issues to support the firm’s clients with general and intellectual property litigation and compliance.”

She earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her law degree from Villanova University School of Law.
