Summary: R. J. Lyman, one of the nation’s leading energy attorneys has joined Mintz Levin as a Member of the Energy Technology and Project Finance Practices of the law firm. Most recently, he was the President, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of General Compression, Inc. Before joining General Compression he was an equity partner for over a decade at Goodwin Procter LLP
Mintz Levin said in its news release that Lyman deepens the firm’s capabilities in the energy sector with diverse expertise encompassing project finance and development; M&A transactions; intellectual property portfolio protection; equity & debt financing; regulatory policy; and corporate governance. He also has an extensive background working with venture capital and private equity firms in connection with emerging growth companies.
