Summary: The Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida has been protected against the Obama Administration’s Abortion-Contraception mandate for the time being.
The Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida does not have to pay for sterilization, contraception or abortion until after a case with a full hearing occurs, according to The Canada Free Press.
A District Court ruled this week that the Obama Administration cannot require the school to provide these items until the full hearing occurs.

Liberty Counsel Senior Litigation Counsel Roger Gannam is representing Ave Maria School of Law. The school is also being represented by Alliance Defending Freedom.
“While women are being hung in Iran for fighting off a would-be rapist and killed in Iraq for standing for their religious beliefs, the Obama Administration continues to put its influence and efforts on forcing religious organizations to pay for $10 contraception and abortifacients,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.
“The university cannot teach students to stand for Christian values while it violates those same religious tenets,” Staver said. “The Obama Administration continues to put Christian businesses and ministries in the crosshairs. It is deplorable that this type of religious persecution is happening right here in America! Liberty Counsel will continue to represent, free of charge, any Christian business or ministry that is targeted.”
