Sidley Austin Welcomes Steven S. Baik to Palo Alto Office

Summary: The law firm of Sidley Austin announced this week that Steven S. Baik has joined the firm in their Palo Alto office as a partner in the intellectual property group.

Steven S. Baik has joined the law firm of Sidley Austin LLP , according to a press release from the firm.

Baik will work as a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice in the Palo Alto office.

Baik has experience working on cases involving power electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, semiconductors, software, semiconductor memory technologies, Wi-Fi networking devices and wired devices.

“Steve has built his career litigating cases involving the patent issues faced by technology companies, whether headquartered in Silicon Valley or in the innovation hubs of Asia,” said Tom DeFilipps, managing partner of Sidley’s Palo Alto office. “His impressive knowledge of hardware and software technologies serves to strengthen the capabilities of our talented team of IP lawyers in Palo Alto.”
