Summary: A dating coach from California is feeling the heat after a video surfaced of one of his seminars, which describes actions bordering on rape and assault.
Julien Blanc labels himself as a dating coach, charging men close to $3,000 to attend seminars that teach them how to pick-up women, according to Fox News.
But, critics of Blanc claim that he is teaching men how to commit sexual assault, sometimes even rape, instead of romance.
Blanc is the co-founder of Real Social Dynamics. He has been forced out of Australia and his work visa was revoked last week after a massive social media effort tried to expose his methods.
His critics claim he uses tactics such as grabbing women by the neck, which he calls the ‘choke opener.’ He also walk up to women in foreign countries and shoves their faces into his crotch.

The leader of “Take Down Julien Blanc” is Mike Burke, a British teacher and researcher who is in Tokyo.
“It’s unspeakable. He’s inspiring people to commit an act that is criminal,” Burke said. “And the misogyny is shocking.”
Burke’s Facebook group has almost 8,000 followers so far.
“At least in Tokyo, if you’re a white male, you can do what you want,” Blanc says in one video. “Just grab her … [I’m] romping through the streets just grabbing girls’ heads, just like, head on d–k…head on d–k.””
On the website Blanc runs, PimpingMyGame.com, he even admits that his tactics can be hurtful.
“It’s Offensive, It’s Inappropriate, It’s Emotionally Scarring, BUT IT’S DAMN EFFECTIVE,” Blanc writes.
He even posted the following on Twitter: “Dear girls, could you please save me the effort and roofie your own drink? #JustKidding.”
Critics of Blanc are worried about his followers, who have said they will rape women who oppose him.
Jennifer Li, from Washington, D.C., has launched a Change.org petition calling for hotels to stop hosting Blanc and his seminars.

“He’s fostering a culture of rape,” Li said.
Terra Carmicheal, a spokeswoman for ticket website EventBrite, released the following statement:
“While we do not actively monitor and remove events, we do listen to our community and evaluate concerns as they surface. In this case, our Trust & Safety Team determined that the events violated our Terms of Service, and they have since been removed from our platform.”
There has been a Change.org petition started on Blanc’s behalf that reads:
“Public figure and dating coach Julien Blanc has been under tremendous scrutiny from feminist groups who have accused him of sexual assault and called him every name under the sun. Julien Blanc is an easy target and although many people disagree with him, he has not committed any crimes.”
“He is NOT sexist. He is NOT racist. He has, in fact, helped hundreds and thousands of men to find success in their dating lives. HE DOES NOT ADVOCATE SEXUAL ASSAULT. THIS IS A LIE.”

As of this morning, the petition had just under 2,500 signatures.
