“We are excited to join Miller & Chevalier, which has a stellar reputation and is a market leader in the areas in which we focus our practice. Given the increasing global intersection of white collar, anti-corruption and criminal cartel enforcement and investigations, and our experience in these areas. Miller & Chevalier was a perfect fit,” Behre said. “With more than 40 lawyers practicing in these areas, the firm has handled investigations in 64 counties over the past five years, which is an impressive global footprint. Just as important are the people,” Behre added, “some of whom I have known for decades.”

Behre practiced law in Washington, D.C. with Pettit & Martin and Hogan & Hartson in the early portion of his career. After stints with those firms he worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in 1989.

“Kirby is a great addition to our very active White Collar practice, and we are delighted he chose to join us and that Lauren and Michael are coming along with him. He brings a first-rate cartel and FCPA defense practice that complements and expands our existing White Collar expertise,” said Mark Rochon, Chair of the firm’s Litigation department. “Best of all, he is someone we have known and enjoyed working with for a long time on a variety of matters. We look forward to working with Kirby for years to come.”

“We are pleased to welcome Kirby to Miller & Chevalier,” said Anthony F. Shelley, Chair of Miller & Chevalier. “He is a widely recognized lawyer whose skills will enhance our capability to assist clients regarding FCPA and other anti-corruption laws and regulations.”

Anderson earned his law degree and LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Duke University Law School. Briggerman earned her law degree from the George Washington University Law School.
