It was announced today that Mayer Brown JSM has added Vincent Sum to the firm as a partner in the Finance practice, according to a release from the firm. Sum will work in the firm’s Hong Kong office.
Sum’s practice is focused on structured products, retail funds, securitisations, derivatives, non-retail funds, secured lending, debt capital markets matters and financing.
His clients include institutional investors, portfolio managers, arrangers, underwriters, trustees and issuers.

Sum has been ranked multiple times for work performed in securitisation, structured products and derivatives. He has been ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners for his work. He has also been named a ‘leading lawyer’ in capital markets, securitisation and structured finance by IFLR1000 for 2014.
