Summary: Justin Bieber and his legal team threatened to sue after a website revealed that Bieber’s Calvin Klein ad may have been photoshopped.
Earlier this month, Justin Bieber became the new face of Calvin Klein. However, ever since the Calvin Klein ad was published, the photoshop rumors have been flying. The Biebs has even been accused of stuffing his crotch for the photo shoot, The Hollywood Gossip reports.
The singer was arrested for assault and dangerous driving over Labor Day Weekend.
BreatheHeavy.com released a supposedly natural, untouched photo of the pop star, implying that his muscles and hands had been artificially enhanced, and that his boxers may have been stuffed as well. According to the Huffington Post, a behind-the-scenes video revealed that Bieber may have also had some body hair photoshopped on for the ad.
Loading ...Bieber and his legal team jumped all over the website, arguing that the picture was fake and sending a cease and desist letter to have the photo removed. In addition, Bieber’s team demanded that the website admit they were spreading falsehoods.
Bieber entered a no-contest plea in an egging case.
Bieber’s team was ready to file a lawsuit against the website if the pictures were not taken down.
BreatheHeavy.com issued a statement, saying, “Team Bieber sent BreatheHeavy a cease and desist letter because of the alleged un-retouched photo we posted, asking we remove the picture in question. Because BreatheHeavy is not about making anyone feel bad or intentionally stirring the pot (and are definitely not here for lawsuits), we shall retract the story per request.”
In May, Bieber was accused of attempted robbery in Los Angeles.
The statement ended with a dig at Bieber: “We sincerely apologize to Bieber for the hit to his ego and to the millions of tweens on social media we upset.”
Calvin Klein has obviously supported Bieber, even posting a new photo of him to Instagram with “Can’t touch this” as its caption.
