Summary: The law firm of Mayer Brown has added Kwon Lee to its Real Estate practice in Hong Kong and eventually New York. 

The law firm of Mayer Brown has announced that Kwon Lee joined the firm in its Real Estate practice as a partner, according to a press release.

Lee will work in the Hong Kong office prior to moving into the New York office at the end of 2015.

Lee’s practice will focus on outbound alternative capital investment from Asia, specifically real estate investment issues.

Lee is a member of multiple investment review boards of pension funds in Korea. He comes to the firm with more than 20 years of experience. His clients have included construction companies, pension funds, conglomerates and financial institutions.

Lee has also worked with clients in China, Australia, France, Japan, Germany, Singapore, the Netherlands, Middle Eastern countries and the United States.

Lee has received the Minister of National Defense Citation/Decoration for Outstanding Legal Service twice in his career.

Lee worked as the managing partner at a top law firm in Seoul prior to joining Mayer Brown.

Lee is permitted to practice in New York. He earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.
