5 Places to Find Exercise Clothing on a Budget

Summary: Buying workout clothes can be expensive. Here are 5 places that I go to find good quality workout clothes for less.

I love wearing workout clothes, but let’s be honest.Some of this stuff is EXPENSIVE! Being a single girl at her first job, I definitely live on a budget and you won’t find me in Lululemon anytime soon. I definitely put some effort into finding cute and good quality exercise clothing for less. Even shopping at stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods and Sports Authority are too expensive for me with all the name brand clothing at retail price. Here are a few of the places that I go to find good quality for less:

1. Fabletics. Now I say this with a grain of salt because recently they’ve been increasing the price of their clothing. However, if you sign up as a VIP your first outfit is $25 which is CRAZY for the quality that you get. You can also earn points or even credits by reviewing what you purchase and sharing your referral link with friends and family.
2. TJMaxx and Marshalls. Both stores have a great selection of name brand exercise clothing for WAY less than you’d find at a regular sporting goods store. I love digging through the racks and finding something that I saw somewhere else for half the price.
3. Old Navy. This store has always been hit or miss for me, but sometimes I find a really good tank top or pair of capris that’s on sale and very much worth the price. I recently bought a great running tank top there for FIVE DOLLARS. Can’t beat that deal!
4. I hate buying things full price at Target when I can find the same quality at TJMaxx or Marshalls, but they do have sales pretty often on their workout clothing and this is my go-to for sports bras. I love their C9 by Champion line and almost always grab a new one whenever I see they’re on sale.
5. Forever 21. I’ve only bought a couple sports bras here, but they actually have some pretty good stuff for the price. I’d definitely recommend it for more lounge-type wear than high-quality athletic gear, but if you just want a cute pair of yoga pants, this is the place to go.
