Prominent entertainment attorney, Carolyn Hunt, is leaving Loeb Loeb to join Barnes & Thornburg LLP as partner. Hunt is known for and skilled at entertainment-related transactions that emphasize television and film finance and distribution. She is joining the Corporate Department and Entertainment, Media and Sports Practice Group.
Hunt earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. Her most recent work includes representing the financiers of the first major feature film to premiere on the same day on the world’s leading Internet TV network and IMAX theaters globally. She has also worked for the financier of the largest Chinese language film to be shot in Los Angeles. Her total involvement in financing for hundreds of television, film, and gaming projects that have won many awards is over $2 million.
Samuel Roseme is also joining the firm as counsel to the Los Angeles office. Roseme earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School. He specializes in the entertainment industry by handling transactions on behalf of networks, studios, and production companies for development, financing, production, distribution, and licensing of entertainment properties.
